Almost 13 years ago, Coronado football coach Seth Parr attended a game that packed the stands of Lowrey Field.
In 1991, Parr was only a 15-year-old in high school when watched as his father, Steve, coached Plainview as it faced Estacado. His brother, Scott, was competing on the then grassy field as the Bulldogs defeated the Matadors.
“They put people in the grass (surrounding the stadium). Both teams,” said Seth Parr, a 1997 graduate of Plainview “That was a big game.”
