In its most productive game of its season, relief spread throughout the Shallowater locker room Friday. Against District 1-3A rival Slaton, the Mustangs came away with a 48-27 win Friday night at Tigers Stadium.
“We’ve had some bad breaks early in the year and just haven’t put things together,” coach Chad Terry said. “We needed this just to keep ourselves alive in the playoffs and just for these kids.”
