Levelland quarterback Nick Gerber turned in a historical performance on the football field by breaking the Texas High School single-season passing yard and touchdown mark last season.
The Lobos senior signal caller continued to garner awards Tuesday as he was selected to the Class 4A Texas Associated Press Editors all-state team and was also named the Offensive Player of the Year.
