WOODROW — After placing No. 13 at this year’s state cross country meet, Cooper’s K.C. Hart signed to run cross country at the University of Texas-Permian Basin.
Sam Higgins also signed at the ceremony Wednesday and will run cross country at LCU.
Hart, a four-year regional qualifier, and Higgins are the first cross country signees from Cooper in the 10 seasons that Christie Parsley has coached the team.
“Both of these programs fit them perfectly,” Parsley said. “The coaches know each personality, so that’s why I think they’re going to be a good fit.”
