Estacado’s Perez, Banda finish third at Red River Classic
Estacado sophomore Alicia Perez (102 pounds) and freshman Alysa Banda (110 pounds) both finished third at the Vernon Red River Classic wrestling tournament this weekend.
Perez finished 3-1 and Banda finished 2-1.
The Lubbock High boys team finished seventh overall and was led by first place finishes from junior Bryan Pena (113) and senior Carter Faeth (152). Junior Alex Bonner (120) finished third and Jay Estrada placed fifth.
