NEW DEAL — At times, the Hale Center boys basketball team contained New Deal.
But as they displayed throughout their game, the Lions are not easily managed.
“We like to get out an press and use our athleticism,” New Deal coach Kyle Bean said. “We have some fast, long guys that are really athletic. They can all pretty much handle the ball. We are really good at finishing in the open court and shoot the ball well.”
New Deal’s Sebastian Hartless led the team with 22 points in their 63-50 win over Hale Center Friday to remain undefeated in District 4-2A.
