CLYDE — Post’s defense has been one of the state’s best this season, but the Antelopes came across another formidable unit Friday night.
Henrietta’s defense kept Post off the board for the first 44 minutes in a Region I-3A Division II area round matchup. Even after allowing a touchdown, the Bearcats made one more stand in the final minute of a 14-7 victory at Bulldog Stadium.
It was a harsh way for the Antelopes’ successful season to end, but Post coach Michael Pittman admitted his team wasn’t at its sharpest in gaining only 176 total yards.
