ODESSA — The Plains girls missed the UIL golf state tournament by one place in the standings, but the Cowgirls’ Madison Davis earned a solo berth at state.
Davis shot 86-90 in the Region I-2A tournament that concluded Thursday at Ratliff Ranch Golf Links, tying for seventh place individually. However, she qualified for state as one of the three low scorers not on the three advancing teams.
