Zach Stepp didn’t want his basketball career to come to an end.
“I went into (the coaches’) office (at Lubbock Christian University) and I said, ‘Hey, can I try out for the team?’ And (they) said yeah, so I tried out for the team and made it. It came up out of nowhere.”
The 6-foot-5 Coronado senior signed to play basketball at LCU on Friday in a cermony at the Coronado gym.
“I feel very blessed that I am able to play another four years and play for an amazing coach like (Todd Duncan).” he said.
