Plainview didn’t start fast Friday night in its District 3-5A opener against Palo Duro.
Taking advantage of excellent field position and an early turnover, the Bulldogs scored three touchdowns less than nine minutes into the game by using the quick scores as the catalyst for a 31-14 win over Palo Duro at Dick Bivins Stadium.
While the opening eight minutes of a 48-minute game rarely seal the deal, that could be said in this one as the fast 21-0 lead put the Dons in chase mode for the remaining three quarters.
