Clark came through with two interceptions and 13 tackles in the Chiefs’ 26-14 defeat of Vega in a Class 2A Division II area-round playoff game.
Also, the senior quarterback/safety completed a 28-yard pass to Sean Gonzales for a touchdown.
“Coming into the game, I knew it was going to be a big game for us,” Clark said. “Throughout the week, I worked hard to get my assignments.
“To have our team come out and play hard, it was a great team effort.”
Crosbyton (11-1) faces Memphis (6-6) in the third round at 2 p.m. Friday at Lowrey Field.
