ODESSA — The start to the Lady Westerner soccer team’s playoff match against El Paso High saw the team possessing and attacking, but their shots wouldn’t find there target.
Which, proved costly against a Lady Tiger team that could capitalize offensively.
“We did a good of possession and a good job of getting forward and trying to get opportunities,” Lubbock High coach Brian Ducas said. “I told the team all week that the game was going to come down to who made mistakes and that really was us. We are the ones that made the mistakes that ended up costing us.”
