WOLFFORTH — The Frenship girls basketball team has yet to struggle in getting on the board this season and is averaging 63 points a game.
But it was dominant defensive play in the final 16 minutes of its match-up with Abilene Cooper that led to its third consecutive win.
“A lot of that was not giving them free throws and making them shoot contested shots (and) blocking out,” Frenship coach Trent Hilliard said, “and that made a huge difference for us. So, we just have to have that mentality of moving our feet and not being lazy.”
